Sergio recently performed a recital as part of the Sunday concert series at St Michael's Uniting Church in Collins St. The concert included works by Villa-Lobos, De Falla,
Lauro, and Albeniz.

 

Sergio's tour with Italian guitarist Marco Battaglia was a great success. Concerts took place at Melbourne's Melba Hall, Sydney's Conservatorium and Canberra's A.N.U.

The Canberra Times wrote about Sergio's performance in Canberra: "... He opened the second half of the concert with the well-known Preludes by Villa-Lobos, attractive music of sparkling clarity and realised with technical assurance. These led through pieces by Barrios, Torroba, Rodrigo, to the Black Decameron to provide a constantly pleasing second half to a unique and most enjoyable recital."

"Sergio Ercole was part of the performer line up at the opening of City of Melbourne's latest redevelopment in Carlton - Piazza Italia. Italians travelled from across the state to be part of the inauguration of Melbourne's first Piazza dedicated to the Italo - Australian community. Sergio's music was a combination of jazz-swing which quickly enticed the crowds to dance. The success of his performance can only be attributed to his experience both locally and overseas."
